14-19 Volunteering
This project promotes a wide range of quality volunteering opportunities in Flintshire, giving young people the chance to get involved in their local communities.
The 14-19 programme works directly with secondary schools and colleges in the county, promoting the benefits of volunteering, setting up volunteering projects in and outside the school, as well as developing opportunities for the Community Participation element of the Welsh Baccalaureate.
If you attend a local secondary school you should be offered the chance to get involved in these exciting activities. You can volunteer on your own or with a group of friends. If you have an idea about setting up a volunteering activity we’d like to hear from you.
If you are a teacher in a local secondary school and are looking for ideas to involve young people in volunteering either in or outside school contact the Project Officer who’ll be happy to help.
If you run a voluntary organisation and want to involve young people talk to our Project Officer jill.blandford@flvc.org.uk
